The blouse piece travels with the saree.
Every handloom we list ships as a saree + a matching 0.8 m blouse piece, cut from the same bolt. You don't have to hunt for a fabric match later; the two travel together from the loom.

Every SUSHMI saree ships with an 0.8-metre blouse piece. If you ask us to tailor it, here's what happens next — handled end-to-end from the same atelier that drape-tested the saree.

Once you've added blouse stitching & fall-pico on the PDP or at checkout, we message you within a few hours. It's a short conversation, not a form — eight numbers, ours to ask about one by one.
If you have a well-fitting blouse already, share its measurements — we'll match them. First-timers: we'll walk you through each one.
The blouse piece moves from packing to the tailor's table in the same atelier. We don't ship it out to a vendor. A cut-and-sew round plus a finishing pass — darts set, piping aligned, sleeve hem turned by hand on silk pieces where the machine would mark the weave.
The saree itself gets its fall (a protective under-hem along the inner border) and pico (the stitched finish along the outer edge). Both are done on the same table so the thread weight matches the saree's own. A final steam press, folded on tissue, ready to drape.
Stitching adds 3–4 working days to the standard ships-in-two timeline. Cutting, sewing, a finishing pass, the fall and pico, and a steam-press — none of it rushed. You'll get a WhatsApp the moment the parcel leaves us, with the courier tracking. Nothing ships before it's right.
Blouse stitching and fall & pico, both. Our in-house tailor, start to finish. Dispatched together with the saree.
Saree + un-stitched 0.8 m blouse piece, as it comes from the loom. Take it to your own tailor. No extra charge; same two-day dispatch.
